Color Of Darkness

If poverty had a color it would be the color of darkness. Poverty is every where you look, on the tv, in other countries, right out side your window, down the street, across town, in another state, right her in the usa. Poverty has no color and that is what this blog will show. It is said that 43.6 million americans are living below the poverty line. The poor are not just the kids from Africa. The poor are also the people who live one paycheck from the crib to the curb.

  1. I understand this on a personal level. If I miss one paycheck I can't pay the rent and probably not my car payment either. I also don't have health insurance and don't make enough money to cover health expenses so I do without needed medication and I don't go to the doctor because I can't afford to take on the debt. Yet I work 40 hours + each week.
